It really is somewhat difficult to deal with, when someone posts too damn much. About stupid crap. Although, like others said, you can just filter them out without “un-freinding” them.

If you ‘filter people out’ as Seth suggests, all that will happen is that you will miss out on info that OFF thinks is absolutely vital, and – thanks to the bitching with mutual aquaintances that will follow – World War Three (social networking version) will break out. There is no tenable ground between friended and unfriended.
