Ok I just have to ask, did the women’s rights movement actually happen? Or did I just dream about it in some crazy alcohol induced sleep?
I ask because it seems like every woman I know has gone to college basically to meet a guy, has been given a $20k bond for their future (which is basically like a dowry as far as I can tell) and none of them want to farking work. Not one of them. They all want to stay home, sleep in, do the laundry and make dinner and pretty much have no real responsibility at all. What the fuck ladies? Now that the previous generation has paved the way you seem to just want to be home/baby makers and not do shiat! What the hell is up with the housewives of wherever? That stupid ass bridezilla show? What is our country doing trying to make women into princesses and homemakers on the heels of the women’s rights movement? Did women get out there and realize how much the working world sucks and decide to go back to the old days? And no ladies, I’m sorry I don’t buy the whole, “well taking care of the children and the house is a job” argument. There are plenty of men out there who not only go to work all day but come home and take care of the kids all night till they go to bed, or make dinner or clean the house.
So honestly can someone tell me what is going on with the current/younger generations? Where did the whole feminist, “we can do it!” mentality go?

Its not just the girls. Its youth in general. They think the world owes them something. Well, it doesn’t. Heath care, a job with a corner office, 4 weeks vacation-and that’s the ones that want to work, er want a pay check.
As far as the womens movement is concerned, what movement? A big bowel movement maybe. Its clear that they all want entitlements. And they want to sit on their ass and do nothing for it.
Oh and by the way, what chick do you know that wants to cook?
I agree with the orig post 100%. Well, maybe 99%. I am a feminist and I enjoy working hard on something that matters.
I just wish the rest of my generation would start thinking over something slightly more deep than What’s the Best Lipgloss Brand.
