Job Uniform Makes Me Look Like An Ass

Category: Jobs, Work, Careers I want to choke somebody out with my “ass-scott”. You know Fred from Scooby Doo? You know that little scarf he has tied around his neck that makes him look super masculine? Yea, I get to wear that. Jealous of me?

My bosses know this is a 3 star hotel. We don’t get to wear nice clean white button down shirts with crisp long skirts or tailored pants. That would bring too much class to this place. Instead, we get to wear light blue collared shirts that are made out of styrofoam, red polka dotted scarfs, and with all this sex appeal oozing we get to top it off with our oversized shirts tucked into our pants making a nice wrinkle effect on our butts. I know some of you are drooling, but please calm down. You dont want to make your keyboards sticky.

I want to be able to wear jeans to work because this is not that nice of a hotel. We are issued 2 shirts and 1 scarf. I’ve been here for OVER A YEAR! So yes, that red stain is from ketchup about 6 months ago. Please don’t stare directly at it.

P.S. I forgot to wear my scarf yesterday and my boss came to me and told me I was showing “irr-respect” for my job by not wearing it. I think he meant “disrespect” but, either way, me not wearing a scarf during SUMMER isn’t disrespectful. It’s common sense.
